It seems that Veliaj calmly continues his unstoppable journey towards organizing dubious tenders one after the other.
There was no way it could be otherwise when SPAK seems to have turned into "NOTHING" (ASPAK in Albanian) in the case where it is concerned. This is because despite the extremely high number of suspicious tenders denounced by the few media outlets left unsold, SPAK does not seem to have started any real investigation into them.
Of course, this gives Veliaj courage to continue without stopping in his journey of tenders. The most recent case is a scandal in itself, as it turns out that Veliaj gave about 120 million old ALL with VAT to the company of an IKMT inspector. So in the morning the inspector destroys the construction of the citizens who have barely built it, and in the afternoon he pockets the millions he recieved from Veliaj.
It is about the tender with reference number REF-40646-09-02-2022 and with the object "Deep maintenance in gyms in public facilities". The limit fund is set at 10,440,195 new ALL without VAT or around 125 million old ALL with VAT. This tender has been marked with a "red flag" since all participants except the winner have been disqualified.
On the other hand, the winner turns out to have offered the highest bid. It is about the AURUM CONSTRUCTION company directed by Terens Lamaj, which has been announced as winner for the offer of 10,203,854 new lek without VAT or about 122 million old lek with VAT.
Meanwhile, Terens Lamaj turns out to be an inspector at the IKMT General Directorate. This information can be found on the official website of "e-inspection", where Lamaj still appears in this role. Not only that, but his company's offer turns out to be 98% of the tender's limit fund. It seems that Veliaj has a "weak point" by favoring him in this way. Meanwhile, we are waiting for SPAK to wake up.
